Literary Shelf

This involves African literature and poetry, Short Story Writing, Video documentary making, Art and performance art. It is a development room that allows participants access literary works, and to express themselves, or voice their opinions through what they say, in poetry, story telling, documentary films, and performance art.

The Legacy Project

The Legacy Project

This is made up of $10 Project - International and 10k UGX Project - Domestic. It is your opportunity to bless forward. Stand in agreement with our team at PSAF, who are responding to the needs of other children still waiting to be remembered. Facilitate the administration of the PSAF edifice, working fervently to transform teenagers into young entrepreneurs.

Student Mentorship programme

Student Mentorship programme

Involves Career guidance; Public speaking; Afrocentric data research, collection and reporting. Students are guided to choose reasonable career paths. The art of presentation and public speaking is also included. Finally, they are challenged to dig out and document ancestral knowledge for the purpose of preserving African data.

Indoor Intellectuals

Indoor Intellectuals

Involves Chess lessons and tournaments, Rubix challenge and The logic-response challenge. This is a mind-provoking session meant to provoke critical thinking

Sporting Tournament

Sporting Tournament

Hockey, or golf lessons and tournaments; Tennis lessons and tournaments; This programme is meant to train sporting activities that add competitive advantages to scholarship applications

African Inspired Inventions

Oil extraction from local seeds; ICTs for effective communication; Tie and die technology - can we have a factory for kitenge fabric? The space is to propel inventions of machinery that ease daily life in processing, communication, and creations

The Peace and Justice Institute

African traditional justice; Spirituality and African spirituality; Sustainable marriage conversation; Lasting friendships. In this space, participants enter into forums that trigger meaningful interaction of ideas, life lessons, interesting African myths, for the purpose of sustaining good relationships within oneself and one’s community

African inspired fashion

Involves creation of Kitenge outfits, Beaded foot wear and African jewelry. Here students are trained to create fashionable African outfits from the kitenge material, make jewelry and beaded foot wear using local raw materials

Wellness Shop

This program provides mental, body and emotional health support to students. Industry experts are encouraged to engage students in activities that focus on meaningful interactions and programmes that promote and heal mental, spirit and body well-being

African Kitchen

The simplicity of African cuisine is rediscovered in cooking and bakery. The programme is mindful of preserving the traditional cooking methods in grandmas kitchen. The sun-drying preservation of vegetable to last months in storage, is an interesting technique

Heal One Child Initiative

Girls Fund Uganda

Donate schoolastic materials to students. Items you can donate include: Text books, pocket money, clothes, shoes, beddings, exercise books, sanitary pads, bathing soap, washing soap and novels
