Pompilla Suzan Agalo

Founder

Pompilla S. Agalo as “Pompi,” was the voice of the popular late-night rock radio program, “Sleepless,” on 95.9 Touch FM, 2009 - 2011. She was the brain child and organizer of what was Kampala’s first Rock Music Concert, staged at the Uganda national cultural center outdoors - 2011.

Her lively voice was heard once more in her debut literary works: The Faces in their Eyes- a memoir of a spirited love - 2021.

Her short story on life in a Roman Catholic boarding school, is featured in an anthology: Threads and Faces: Stories of belonging and identity, published by African Writers Trust-AWT, 2022

Pompilla is outgoing, cool and rebellious! She is a lot fun, a creative cook, and has a great interest in Acholi culture. While she calls Gulu, Uganda home, she lives in Kampala where she has taught ICT from 2012 to 2023.

Education

Where as her bachelor’s background is in Information Technology, Pompills also holds a Masters in Media Studies & Journalism from Uganda Christian University-2023
